About "El Cuélebre".

September, 2011. Simon, from the UK. m Here in a excursion in the spectacular Asturian coast.

About the classes:

I came to improve my general comprehension and understanding of Spanish. This has certainly happened.

 About food:

How nice to go back to the Spanish way of living and eating – so much more healthy! I couldn’t have enjoyed more the excellent variety of Spanish and Asturian food, and, of course, the wine!

 About the excursions:

It was a pleasure to enjoy the mountains with two such knowledgeable people, including too the bird watching and the ways of the bear and other animals of the area. My interests in mountain walking and learning Spanish were certainly met. I couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable stay.

Please, don’t change anything. It’s just perfect!

I will certainly ask to come again – even if it is only to catch sight of one of those elusive bears!

May, 2011. Gary and Lynn, from the USA. m With Jimena near La Peral.

This is a language immersion program that completely eclipses any other I am aware of. How can you beat spending time in a beautiful Asturian village with two exceptional instructors who care about your very personal need, customize your experience completely to your own desires, and show you the mountains, streams, villages of the exceptional Somiedo park? It just doesn’t get better than this.

¡Muchísimas gracias, Alfredo y Jimena!

April, 2011. Adrian, from the United Kingdom. With Jimena in Cudillero.

"El Cuélebre fully lived up to all my expectations.

Alfredo and Jimena couldn't have been more helpful. The food was so good and tempting that the long walks through the lovely Somiedo mountains were necessary - without them I wouldn't have been able to fit into an Easyjet seat on the return journey. The informal classes, while walking, were even better than the formal ones, and the general discussion informed and intelligent. I find it hard to believe that I spent a week talking (almost) nothing but Spanish - presumably more or less comprehensible as Alfredo and Jimena appeared to understand.

I can't sufficiently recommend an immersion course at El Cuélebre."

March, 2011. Antony, from the United Kingdom.

"I just moved to Asturias and I think to come to this course has been a great idea. It has been the best introduction possible. With Alfredo and Jimena I have learnt many things about Spain and Asturias. I have started speaking Spanish!

I would definitively recommend El Cuélebre."

February, 2011. Ettore, from Italy.

"A real pleasure to learn Spanish with El Cuélebre. A spectacular natural and human environment. I am going to miss Asturias. I leave thinking about coming back."

September, 2010. Kate, from the United Kingdom. Walking near La Peral.

"This was an amazing adventure in every way. I had the opportunity to walk in the mountains and visit places I would never otherwise have been able to visit. And at the same time, I was able to practise my Spanish throughout my stay.

Alfredo and Jimena are real experts in their fields- so I was able to learn all about the local flora and fauna, Asturian and Spanish culture and various nuances of Spanish language."

August, 2010. Marielle y Jacques, from France. Beside the lake of the "Valle".

"Very good classes, with clear and precise explanations.

Nature in Asturias is simply extraordinary.

We have the intention to return."

July, 2010. Birgitta and Patrick, from the Netherlands. Here in "La braña Pornacal", a very special place in Somiedo.
